ALDC is a membership organisation that provides advice, resources and training for Liberal Democrats councillors and campaigners.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the leading organisation for campaigners and councillors within the Liberal Democrats. We are a membership organisation with over 4500 active members, and our ambition is for there to be more Liberal Democrat councillors in every part of Great Britain, in every set of elections.

We are based in Ancoats in central Manchester. The ALDC team consists of nine staff members based in Manchester with hybrid working, and five Development Officers based around Britain. We run a successful internship programme and are supported in our work by over 150 volunteers.

We are looking for someone with a background in graphic design and/or campaigns and communications. We want someone who can produce high quality, effective comms to our members and produce templates for them to use. Experience in local government is desirable alongside the ability to develop political campaigns and give political advice. A familiarity with online email systems and websites would also be useful.
