About Labour Business:
Labour Business is one of the Labour Party’s 20 affiliated Socialist Societies. We work to strengthen the relationship between the Labour Party and the business community, championing responsible business, good jobs, and sustainable growth as part of a fairer economy.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Consultant to support Labour Business over a 12-month period. The role will focus on strengthening member engagement, delivering a dynamic programme of events, and supporting us to deliver more for our members. You will be the only paid resource supporting the 14 strong volunteer executive committee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver Labour Business events, including member briefings, policy discussions, and party conference activity
  • Develop and implement a member engagement plan to grow participation and retention of our members.
  • Support communication with members, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Committee to support Labour Business campaigns and projects.

About You:

  • We are looking for someone who is:
  • Committed to the Labour Party
  • Experienced in event organisation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities.
  • Politically aware, with an understanding of the Labour Party and its structures.
  • A demonstrable interest in business issues
  • A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills.
