Job Details
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Reporting to the Cheshire West and Chester Labour Group Leader and Campaign Coordinator. Likely working 12hrs a week.
1. To enable and empower select campaign units within the Cheshire West and Chester council area to organise and campaign in their local communities and win the 2027 local elections through effective election organising, clear messaging and year-round community and voter engagement.
2. To organise regular campaigning sessions and leaflet distribution with councillors, activists and volunteers.
3. To recruit, develop and train teams of volunteers to deliver effective year-round campaigning and organising using all available campaign methods.
4. To lead and organise campaigning activity as determined by the Labour Group Campaign Coordinator.
5. To work with the Regional Office where appropriate.
6. To design and deliver digital campaigns and materials, including targeted content, website management, and producing online petitions.
7. To train activists where needed in the use of the Labour One app and other sites where necessary.
8. Performing other tasks as needed.

• Experience of political campaigning
