Job Details
LFG’s Mission
LFG is the UK’s movement for economic growth. We exist to fight decline, raise expectations and make the most of this country’s vast potential. Our campaigns create space for any politician, from any party, to build a better future for Britain. This means building infrastructure, building companies and building trust - in our communities and our institutions alike.
In our first year, we took much of our LFG Infrastructure Bill into law, shamed TfL into cleaning up the capital’s Tube carriages, and pressured the Government into the biggest change in nuclear policy in British history.
Overview
LFG’s Community Manager is responsible for implementing the Chapter strategy, running the volunteer pipeline day-to-day and maintaining a strong link between LFG Chapters and LFG HQ.
The Community Manager would:
- Execute LFG’s Chapter strategy and weekly Community priorities, including travel to various Chapter locations across the UK.
- Run the volunteer pipeline, fielding enquiries from individuals and encouraging them to start or join Chapters.
- Monitor Chapters’ adherence to LFG core mission and operational guidelines.
- Establish a network around the Chapters and LFG HQ, with a knowledge of different people with different skills within that network.
- Manage Chapter social media accounts & WhatsApp groups, ensuring requests are answered in a timely fashion and consistently.
