Are you looking for some hands-on experience of policy in practice, a chance to communicate with the public and politicians, and push for meaningful change across several disciplines? Then join the NFB for to work in our policy team to help solve the housing crisis, build up the construction industry and ensure we can meet our climate challenges.

The NFB represents the broader construction industry and so you will get a crash course in how the incredible industry functions, while also working with an experienced policy team that has enabled real change. You will have an opportunity to bring your own ideas to the table and have them implemented.

The role
Supporting political engagement, member needs, stakeholder management and communications you will be part of the press team, analyse policies, speak to members about their challenges and concerns and attend occasional stakeholder meetings.

Job purpose
• Help deliver and promote the NFB’s Public Affairs Plan
• Analyse, understand and co-ordinate the NFB’s Parliamentary affairs in relation to members’ needs
• Inform members of changes in public policy
