Labour Housing Group is recruiting a person to support the work of the Executive Committee in leading our programme of fringe events at Labour Party Annual Conference 2026. The postholder will: 

  • Lead partner liaison with speakers and sponsors
  • Oversee partner agreements, contracts, and invoicing
  • Represent the organisation at partner meetings and stakeholder forums
  • Commission and manage LHG merchandise and branding for Conference 
  • Source venues for the fringe events 
  • Co-ordinate travel and accommodation logistics for speakers and delegates
  • Liaise with the Labour Party Conference team 
  • Provide regular update reports to the Executive Committee and to sponsors 
  • Work alongside the LHG Communications and Administration Assistant

The person in this role will need to have professional communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent organisational and administrative skills, be able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines, and be pro-active and reliable. They will need to know a bit about the Labour Party's structure and the housing system, and to have experience of organising and co-ordinating events and/or conferences. 

The person will be self-employed, so will look after their own tax and NI payments
