ICCF-UK is offering an exciting opportunity for skilled researchers to support ongoing research projects in the international environmental space. This short term contract will be ideal for researchers looking for part time roles to gain experience researching environmental policy from an international perspective or those who wish to build a portofolio of work in this field. 

Key responsibilities:

- Design and deliver high quality research projects covering topics in the international environmental space
- Analyse complex data and documents and distil them into clear, concise briefings for key stakeholders
- Perform original research into issues surrounding international conservation
- Provide accurate minutes and notes for meetings with stakeholders

Role requirements:

Essential:
- Proven experience in independent research and the composition of reports to the level of a graduate thesis.
- Excellent written communication skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Strong analytical and composition skills
- Knowledge of the international environment space, especially the UK’s role in multilateral environmental agreements, including UN conventions such as the Convention on Biological Diversity
- Ability to organise their workload effectively in order to meet key deadlines

Preferred:
- Experience working in a political environment
- Knowledge of the academic and non-profit space in the environmental field
- Familiarity with foreign affairs
- Knowledge of common research tools
