Job Details
Anna Turley MP is seeking an experienced, motivated and highly organised individual to join her constituency team. This is a varied and fast paced position requiring excellent communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The successful candidate will play a central role in driving constituency projects, engaging with local partners and supporting the MP’s priorities. They will work closely with the MP, stakeholders and the public, taking ownership of key tasks and representing the office with professionalism, integrity and care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead constituency regeneration projects.
• Liaise with industry, charities, community groups and businesses.
• Take responsibility for resource and project management tasks.
• Represent the MP at stakeholder meetings and provide accurate follow up.
• Work flexibly, including occasional travel and out of hours commitments.
• Manage databases and use office software for administrative and case related work.
• Ensure efficient data and file management in line with data protection legislation.
• Engage professionally and confidentially with members of the public.
• Take minutes and produce clear action notes.
Experience:
Leading projects involving multiple partners.
Working with businesses, industry partners or external stakeholders.
• Representing an organisation at external meetings.
• Drafting clear written materials.
• Using databases and handling sensitive information.
• Regeneration or community focused work (desirable).
Knowledge:
• Data protection and confidentiality.
• Administrative processes and information management.
• Local community issues and public services.
• Stakeholder engagement.
• Parliamentary or constituency work (desirable).
• Regeneration or economic development (desirable).
Skills & Personal Qualities:
• Strong communication and excellent written skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

• Strong IT skills.
• Professional, calm, resilient and discreet.
• Hardworking, flexible and proactive.
• Commitment to high quality work, Labour values and holding a full UK driving licence.
