Job Details

PoliMonitor is a fast growing company and new business wins means we're expanding our team. Working within the commercial team the Business Development Associate will work directly with our highly experienced Commercial Director. The role will be based at our London office in Westminster with hybrid working arrangements. We are therefore looking for a candidate who can work autonomously and in a team.

The responsibilities:
- Generate leads and schedule meetings through research, cold calling, attending
events and marketing emails.
- Work with wider team to prepare and support pitches and proposals.
- Present and position Promonitor’s service over the phone and in face-to-face
meetings (where appropriate) (some travel in UK might be required).
- Keeping sales/ prospect details up to date (Hubspot).

Desirable attributes:

- Commercial skills and business acumen.
- Exposure to Hubspot or other CRMs is beneficial

Essential attributes:
- Keen to learn new skills - assisted and working directly with Commercial Director, MD and Operations Director. 
- Problem solver - you will run into barriers which we will expect you to propose solutions to - with assistance offered if needed.
- Attention to detail - Impeccable time management as well as getting all the little "unimportant" details right. Make no mistake - the accuracy and quality of this work will have a direct impact on the company's success.
- Team player - collaboration and being a positive voice in the team is essential in this role.
Ambitious - this role will provide an opportunity to join a fast growing business where all team members are ambitious for themselves and the company.
- Political - Interest in politics is a strong plus.

NOTE - no sales experience necessary as training and support provided.

Benefits
- 30 days’ paid leave not inclusive of public holidays

- Normal working hours 9am - 5pm.

- Generous commission plan which would represent on target earnings of 50%+ of base salary.
