Alex Davies-Jones MP is seeking a proactive and highly organised Parliamentary Assistant to work in her Westminster office.

• The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
• Knowledge of UK politics and parliamentary procedures.
• Have working knowledge of relevant legislation and upcoming business including how they will impact on the constituency.
• Jointly manage Alex’s parliamentary inbox by responding and filing correspondence.
• Work with constituency and private office teams to ensure the coordination of Alex’s calendars across her different roles.
• Build and maintain strong links between the constituency team and Westminster office.
• Working closely with the Senior Communications Advisor, action policy casework and keep the Caseworker system up to date.
• Provide operational support in relation to Alex’s parliamentary business. Engage with stakeholders, attend meetings on behalf of Alex, and organise parliament-facing events and tours.
• Prepare and draft briefing notes as requested and support the Constituency team in writing to Ministers.
• Possess strong research and analytical skills.
• Candidate must possess excellent written communication and drafting skills.
