Overview:

We are looking for three summer interns to join us for six weeks each between May-August. Timings below:

• 5 May – 12 June
• 15 June – 24 July
• 27 July – 29 August

Your role is to support the delivery of GK’s outstanding political, regulatory and communications strategies for our clients. You will also aid the functioning and growth of GK through researching and sharing intelligence and insights relating to the political, business and communications environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the political, policy and regulatory environment for developments of importance to the company, private equity community and your assigned clients
• Drafting clear and concise summaries and analysis of political developments to be shared with assigned clients in a timely manner
• Support on the delivery of Political Due Diligence and investor research, working with advisers where required
• Being an ambassador for GK at external events and meetings
• Keeping your clients’ work in progress (WIP) workplan updated with activity and key milestones
• Responsibility for logistical arrangements associated with external meetings
• Tracking and creating stakeholder maps to identify key parliamentarians and officials of interest
• Drafting client-ready content such as briefings and articles that will be signed off by your client team
• Reviewing and updating alerts via our monitoring services
• Responsible for monitoring daily Hansard and parliamentary and media activities and sharing with relevant client teams
