About the role

This is a policy and public affairs role focused on influencing UK Government, Parliament and the NHS.

You will support our work by combining policy analysis with hands-on political engagement. This includes:

  • Drafting briefings, parliamentary questions and stakeholder communications
  • Monitoring political and policy developments and advising on their implications
  • Supporting engagement with MPs, peers, civil servants and NHS stakeholders
  • Contributing to consultations and policy submissions
  • Helping deliver parliamentary activity, including APPG work and events

This is a fast-paced role with shifting priorities, linked to the political cycle.

Do you have…

  • A good understanding of how UK politics and policymaking works in practice, and how organisations influence it
  • Experience in a policy, public affairs or political role (for example in Parliament, a charity, consultancy or government)
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise material for political audiences
  • The ability to interpret complex information and explain what matters and why
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

If this is you, and you’re looking to join a fantastic organisation and team where you can really make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

Location - In this role, you would benefit from the flexibility of working on a fully remote (UK based) basis. If you are local to the Bath area, there is the option to work on a hybrid basis from our central Bath office at least 20% of your time each month.
