• To support the delivery of the Jobs Foundation's ambition to grow the national Business Council.
• To work closely with Regional Business Council Chairs and Steering Committees to deliver a programme of activity in each region.
• To support the Jobs Foundation’s events and outreach strategy, including taking an active role in developing and executing plans for regional events, helping to build the Jobs Foundation’s presence in communities across the UK.
• To build engagement, retention and peer-to-peer recruitment across the regional and national Business Council network.

Essential Candidate Requirements

• Adept at working to deliver in a growing fast-paced team and an enthusiasm for new challenges.
• Well-organised and able to manage competing deadlines and requirements with a high degree of professionalism.
• Strong written and verbal skills and a competency with or ability to learn CRM or membership management software systems.
• An interest in the UK business community and the contribution that businesses make to creating opportunity and providing employment and training across the country.
• An ability to work with and engage with external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of how the business community engages with and is impacted by policy at both a national and regional level.
