The Role
Consultants are central to delivering client impact—turning strategy into action. You will advise technology clients navigating complex UK and European regulatory and political environments, shaping public affairs strategies and driving execution. You’ll manage junior colleagues, own key workstreams, and deliver outcomes that influence policy and reputation.
What You’ll Do
Shape strategy: Develop public affairs plans, identify key stakeholders, and ensure all activity aligns to clear objectives grounded in evidence and insight.
Advise clients: Provide strategic recommendations in writing and in meetings, including high-pressure situations. Deliver key moments such as select committee hearings, ministerial engagements, and major announcements. Stay informed on policy issues like AI, competition, data protection, and online safety.
Leverage AI: Use tools such as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, Factiva, and Meltwater to enhance research, analysis, and delivery. Contribute to AI innovation and knowledge sharing.
Deliver work: Manage projects, delegate effectively, and ensure high-quality outputs on time.
Support growth: Contribute to business development, improve team effectiveness, and identify opportunities to support client goals.
Collaborate: Foster an inclusive, feedback-driven team culture.
