Job Title: Senior Account Executive

Working For: VRM Advisory

Location: London

Salary: Above industry standard

Length of Contract: Permanent

Job Details

VRM Advisory is a public and government relations firm specialising in the defence, security and aerospace industries. We work across every facet of our clients’ businesses, from initial communications strategy to government engagement, policy drafting and narrative shaping, ensuring that their voice cuts through the noise to customers, industry partners and wider stakeholders.

Founded in January 2024, the firm is growing incredibly quickly through referral, reputation and word of mouth alone as we continue to work with some of the biggest names in Defence.

What we are looking for:
At VRM Advisory we operate differently from many traditional agencies. Our priority is not to create activity simply to prove our worth, but to support our clients in achieving demonstrable, meaningful outcomes. We pride ourselves on not just reacting to news cycles but shaping and creating them. We use our knowledge and network to work with clients, stakeholders and HMG to secure the best outcomes for our Armed Forces and European security.

As a Senior Account Executive, day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Researching relevant stakeholders and preparing biographies
  • Preparation and distribution of briefing notes for client engagements with media and political stakeholders
  • Preparation and distribution of press releases
  • Logging all client coverage which appears in print and online media
  • Attending client meetings and events, providing timely reports on actions and outcomes and circulating to clients
  • Preparing for and attending trade shows with clients
  • Helping to organise media events and press briefings
  • Management of media lists for clients
  • Keeping client activity planners up to date

The successful candidate will have strong writing, communication, research, administrative and organisational skills, alongside excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines. Previous defence experience would be welcome, but is not essential. More important is a strong understanding of how international policy, the media and Parliament interact, together with a genuine interest in supporting the UK Armed Forces.

Closing Date: 6 May 2026

Interview/Start Dates

We will be conducting rolling interviews.

Application Details

The role would suit somebody who is happy to be flexible in their day-to-day duties. From writing briefing documents to chairing meetings between ministers and CEOs, no one is above or below any job at VRM Advisory. There will be significant room for growth and development, alongside pay above industry standard and the opportunity to help shape the business as it continues to grow.
