Person specification

  • Experience conducting and overseeing high quality qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis
  • Experience leading engagement activities, including interviews and focus groups
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present analysis compellingly
  • Experience tasking and supporting analysts to deliver high quality analysis
  • Ability to rigorously quality assure data collection and analysis
  • Support and develop analytical skills across the team
  • Ability to identify key findings and interpret them within a project’s context to deliver fresh, cutting-edge policy insight
  • Strong ability to present findings clearly and directly answer client briefs
  • Experience delivering project management tasks and maintaining appropriate records in line with Crest’s processes
  • Experience working with clients, being responsive and maintaining excellent relationships
  • Actively curious about identifying new policy or analytical insights related to criminal justice and public safety
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders, policy experts and clients, and working collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to support development of internal training materials and deliver training sessions for interns/analysts
  • Strong organisational and personal time management skills
  • Interest in working with colleagues / leading internal thought leadership projects and presentations
