We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help us support our clients in powering the UK Net Zero transition. Due to a number of recent new client wins in the renewable energy sector, we have a vacancy for an Account Executive to help us make a difference.

This position would suit a recent graduate, or those with a year or two experience (advantageous) with an interest in the climate crisis, renewable energy and politics at a local level (knowledge of the planning sector a benefit, but we can teach you that).

What you’d be doing:
· Researching local and national politics (i.e. producing stakeholder analysis documents)
· Helping to organise, publicise and staff public events (will require you to travel around the UK on occasion)
· Producing draft letters, newsletters and consultation boards
· Managing databases (i.e. collating local resident feedback, tracking political activity)
· Media monitoring and liaising with the press when necessary
· Writing clear, concise, compelling and engaging copy about new environmental projects
· Some admin (booking venues and putting meetings in the diary)
· Be a point of contact for external stakeholders regarding our clients’ projects

What we need:
· Someone who can manage their own workload, take responsibility, and get things done in a small agency environment
· An interest in politics, current affairs, local government, planning, renewable energy
· You need to be able to write well and explain complicated things in a simple way
· It goes without saying that you’ll be able to use MS Word, PPT, Excel – but it would be even better if you could also build simple websites or use photoshop too.
