About Campaign Lab
Campaign Lab is a network of progressive technologists and campaigners focused on campaign innovation. Founded in 2018, we operate through a small paid team, a committed group of volunteers, and a wider network of campaigners, technologists and progressive organisations.
We are an experimental, research-driven organisation. We research, innovate, test and embed effective tools and practices to strengthen progressive campaigning. Our work includes applied research, pilot projects, hackdays, and partnerships with MPs, campaigners and progressive organisations.
We are currently hiring for the below three roles and are open to candidates at a range of levels of seniority and will shape the role - including responsibilities, title and salary - around the strongest candidates we find for each role.
About the roles
Research Lead
We are looking for a Research Lead who combines genuine methodological rigour with a practical, field-oriented mindset. This is not an academic role. We want someone who is excited about getting research out of the lab and into the hands of campaigners — someone who can design a randomised controlled trial and also explain its findings clearly to a local organiser who has never heard of one.

Communications Manager
We are looking for a Communications Manager who thinks beyond traditional PR. Yes, you will manage our online presence, build relationships with journalists and write compelling content. But just as importantly, you will think hard about how to make complex research findings genuinely accessible, experimenting with formats, channels and approaches to reach different audiences in different ways. At Campaign Lab, communications is itself a form of innovation.

Project Manager
This is a role for a genuine all-rounder: someone who is energised by variety, comfortable with ambiguity, and determined to keep complex, fast-moving work on track. You will work across Campaign Lab’s priority areas, picking up projects wherever the need is greatest and driving them forward with rigour and pragmatism.
