Naushabah Khan MP is seeking, a proactive and highly organised, Chief of Staff and Campaigns to provide team leadership, ensure the smooth running of the office and deliver effective constituency campaigns.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, as well as the ability to lead a small team, manage budgets and keep accurate records. They will also be able to work proactively with a variety of stakeholders, alongside volunteers and campaigners. Working knowledge of campaign tools such as Contact Creator, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth running of a fast-paced MP office
- Manage a small and high performing team
- Lead and maintain a highly professional administrative support function for the MP's office including office finances and personnel records
- Deal with security matters, keep abreast of security guidance, maintain the security system, liaise with external bodies as appropriate
- Liaise with groups/personnel including at Westminster, within the constituency and the general public on the MP's behalf as necessary
- Delivering campaigns that have cut-through with the community and support the MPs work
- Provide high quality, efficient and effective support to the MP and interest groups as required
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience of organising, managing and leading political campaigning
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
- Experience of software such as Contact Creator
Additional Information
- The successful candidate will be based between Parliament and the Constituency Office
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary
