About the Summit
ILS convenes leaders across energy, infrastructure, supply chains, diplomacy, and agriculture at the intersection of law, policy, and business. This November’s summit — “The World Post-Shocks: Opportunities from the New Global Architecture” — examines the lasting impact of the Hormuz disruption, the Ukraine war, and Covid-19. Attendees include sitting/former ministers, ambassadors, FTSE 200 chairs, and S&P 500 executives.
The Role
We need a driven, culturally aware postgrad (or an exceptional undergrad) as Conference Coordinator. You’ll be the operational backbone of this world-class gathering with direct networking access. Outstanding performance opens a path to own the summit year after year.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with VIP attendees (ministers, ambassadors, C-suite), handling invitations and bespoke requests
Manage end-to-end logistics: venue, suppliers, AV, and project timeline
Work with senior team on risk, priorities, and flawless delivery
Lead on-site operations: registration, guest flow, real-time problem-solving
About You
Strong academic record (any discipline), fast learner
Global mindset and cultural sensitivity
Fluent professional English; additional languages a plus
Events, conference, or project management experience in a high-pressure setting; exposure to legal, diplomatic, or corporate environments valued
Highly organised, calm under pressure, proactive problem-solver
Confident networker who builds genuine rapport with senior leaders
