This is a fantastic opportunity to join a national youth charity that runs a growing network of inspirational, purpose-built youth centres providing centre-based youth work in disadvantaged communities.

As Public Affairs lead you will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong reputation and influence with policymakers, partners and stakeholders to position the charity’s youth work as an essential part of the national conversation and policy landscape.

Responsibilities will include:

• Delivery of core public affairs activity aligned to existing priorities
• A structured review of the charity’s medium and long-term public affairs and policy approach.

You will have:

• Proven experience in UK public affairs and policy, ideally within youth, education or social policy
• Relevant experience conducting reviews or shaping future policy/public affairs approaches
• The ability to understand central and local government, including how policy is developed and influenced
• Confidence in supporting senior stakeholders, including CEOs
