About Club Soda
Club Soda is a social impact business and global advocate for better drinking. We work to make alcohol-free and mid-strength drinks normal, visible and genuinely celebrated wherever people drink.

Since 2015, we’ve been driving change across the whole system — from influencing policy and supporting research, to working with retailers, venues and drink producers to build drink ranges that actually sell. We bring together industry, government and consumers to shift outdated norms and create a more inclusive drinking culture where real choice exists.

The Role
We’re looking for a Public Affairs and Communications Assistant to join our small, ambitious team. This is a hands-on role supporting our policy, research and trade work at a pivotal moment for the no, low and mid-strength drinks sector.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Organising working groups and collective meetings across industry and policy stakeholders
  • Working on research projects, including data gathering and report writing
  • Assisting with public affairs activity, including parliamentary monitoring and briefings
  • Supporting our brand members and keeping our database accurate and up to date
  • Creating and scheduling and monitoring social media activity
  • Improving and expanding our impact work with Majestic Wines
  • Assisting the team with trade shows, tastings and other events
  • Helping organise our No, Low and Mid-Strength Summit

Skills & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree, equivalent professional qualification or experience in campaigning, political research or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to a variety of audiences
  • An interest in campaigning, parliamentary processes and/or public health
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own time
  • Good research skills and strong attention to detail
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools, Canva and Google Docs
  • Experience of working in hospitality is desirable but not essential

Location
Our preference is for you to be able to join the team in London at least 3 days a week.

We Welcome Diverse Applicants
We are looking for candidates who can add lived experience to our existing team.
