Job Title: Campaign Lead
Working For: Wild Card
Location: Internet
Salary: £34,320
Length of Contract: 6 month contract
Job Details
Wild Card is looking for a creative, conscientious and experienced Campaign Lead to join the team for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
This impactful role will co-lead our upcoming campaign on rewilding common land whilst collaborating with the wider Wild Card team on other nature focused campaigns. It will be home-based, with some travel in the UK required and paid for (e.g. general meet-ups, or to actions).
Wild Card is at an exciting phase of growth with new funding and an expanding nationwide team. This role will see you leading one of our most ambitious campaigns to date as we shake up Westminster and seek to change harmful legislation holding back rewilding in Britain’s precious commons. The role will see you work with our 10 person team to launch a headline grabbing campaign on a politically contentious issue. You’ll deploy traditional and social media, parliamentary process, political advocacy, grassroots mobilisation, creative stunts, research and analysis, and alliance building to achieve lasting policy change.
We would like someone who can commit to working with us until at least January 2027, with the possibility of continuing.
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of previous charity or campaign experience leading creative, dynamic campaigns and who is confident in their ability to self-manage delivering all aspects of the campaign with professionalism. The campaign environment can be fast-paced and pressured during crunch moments, so you should be resilient under pressure, confident in juggling a range of competing priorities and be able to grasp unexpected opportunities when they arise.
Awareness of Britain’s common land, uplands, rewilding and/or land justice is preferred, but please still apply if you are only just learning about these issues and are keen to learn more.
Closing Date: 1 June 2026
Interview/Start Dates
We will invite suitable candidates to a 30-minute first-round interview during the week commencing 8 June 2026.
Final interviews will take place the following week. Candidates may be asked to prepare a short task in advance.
