Prospect is looking for a Senior Events Producer to lead and deliver a growing programme of roundtables, conferences and policy events.
Our events bring together politicians, policymakers, business leaders and thinkers to discuss some of the biggest issues facing Britain today.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both the craft and pace of events — from developing programmes and managing stakeholders, to ensuring the detail is right on the day.
We are a small, ambitious team, so we’re looking for someone practical, collaborative and willing to get stuck in.
• Lead the planning and delivery of Prospect’s programme of high-level events, including roundtables, panel discussions and conferences
• Work alongside the Head of Engagement to develop events aligned with Prospect’s editorial vision
• Manage and support an Events Executive
• Work closely with speakers, chairs, sponsors and external partners
• Oversee guest lists, invitations and RSVP management
• Coordinate event logistics including AV, catering and room set-up
• Manage on-site event delivery and guest experience
• Support reporting, write-ups and post-event follow-up
• Lead regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Work closely with the MD to manage budgets, costs and event margins
• Contribute ideas for new event formats and audience growth
About you
• At least 3 years’ experience producing professional events, ideally within politics, policy, media or public affairs
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and calm under pressure
• Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders including politicians and corporate partners
• Practical, adaptable and happy working in a fast-moving SME environment
• Collaborative, low ego and willing to muck in when needed
• Commercially aware, with an understanding of how events support business growth
