An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Policy Officer to join a prominent, independent statutory regulator based in London. This role is ideal for an experienced policy professional seeking end-to-end project ownership and high-visibility stakeholder engagement within a vital public-interest sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Policy Delivery: Lead, manage, and review strategic policy initiatives, organizational standards, and supporting guidance from inception to completion.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct robust desk-based research and data analysis to drive evidence-based organizational decisions.
• High-Quality Writing: Draft concise, high-level briefings, consultation responses, position papers, and analysis reports for senior committees.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and forums (virtually and in person) to gather diverse perspectives and build consensus.
• Cross-Organizational Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external bodies, including joint-working initiatives with regulatory counterparts in Northern Ireland.

The Successful Applicant:

• Significant experience working within a dedicated policy, regulatory, governmental, or public sector team.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, manage multiple shifting priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing high-quality documents for senior leadership.
• Experience leading and facilitating stakeholder events, workshops, or consultation forums.
• An academic or professional qualification containing a strong research or analysis component.
