Telford & Wrekin Liberal Democrats are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated person who can deliver campaign activity, and contribute to building campaign capacity in the borough ahead of next year’s local elections.

This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver campaigning activity, and build the infrastructure and organisation necessary to defend our wards and gain new wards at the May 2027 Telford & Wrekin Council elections.

Job Description:
The work required will vary over time, as priorities change, but will include the following:

• Support ward teams in building organisational capacity – including recruiting members, donors, deliverers and poster sites.
• Support ward teams in delivering an ongoing programme of doorstep communication with voters
• Artwork campaign literature and liaise with printers.
• Directly participate in campaigning activities.
• Assist with recruitment of further candidates.
• Maintain relevant databases as needed, e.g. Connect.
• Contribute to the website and social media campaigns as needed
• Attend meetings as required.
• Other duties relating to campaigning and member engagement, as may be required from time to time.
