IPNEd is hosted by Results UK, a charity that uses grassroots, parliamentary and policy advocacy to tackle poverty and improve global development outcomes.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive Communications Officer to lead IPNEd's internal and external communications. You will create engaging content, manage digital channels, strengthen media relations, support parliamentary engagement, and help grow the network's global reach and impact.

Key Responsibilities
Create content including newsletters, blogs, social media posts, press releases, speeches and multimedia materials.
Manage IPNEd's website and social media channels.
Monitor media coverage and identify communications opportunities.
Analyse performance data and improve audience engagement.
Support communications and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Build relationships with parliamentarians, partners and external stakeholders.
Maintain communications systems and membership databases.
Support research, drafting and occasional international travel.
Essential Criteria
Experience in communications, advocacy, public affairs, international development or related sectors.
Excellent writing, editing and content creation skills.
Experience creating digital and multimedia content.
Knowledge of social media analytics and audience engagement.
Experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, Mailchimp and website CMS platforms.
Experience working with parliamentarians, policymakers or advocacy campaigns.
Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).

Interview/Start Dates

First-round interviews will be held online on 25–26 June 2026. The successful candidate can start immediately after the success of the recruitment process. This is an initial 12-month contract with the intention to extend subject to funding.
