This is an opportunity to join an award-winning communications and reputation management firm with expertise spanning political, regulatory and corporate communications. Candidates may have gained this experience in consultancy, Westminster, or in-house policy or external affairs roles. The appointment level will depend on experience, judgement and readiness to manage client work independently.

What you’ll do

• Support the day-to-day delivery of public affairs and communications programmes across a range of clients.
• Manage account activity, timelines and actions, working with colleagues and clients to keep programmes on track.
• Deliver political, parliamentary, regulatory and media monitoring, turning developments into clear analysis.
• Draft high-quality materials including briefings, stakeholder maps, consultation responses, presentations and campaign materials.
• Support and, depending on level, help lead stakeholder engagement activity, including events, parliamentary engagement and external meetings.
• Contribute ideas to campaigns, policy positioning and new business activity.
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Develop your network across politics, policy, media and industry, with support from senior colleagues.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in an agency, political, public affairs, policy, government, communications or related environment.
• For Account Executive level, some relevant experience; for Senior Account Executive or Account Manager level, experience managing workstreams, accounts or stakeholder engagement independently.
• A strong interest in politics, public policy and how public decision-making affects organisations, sectors and society.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• A proactive, curious mindset
• Collaborative and team-oriented
• Confidence using digital tools, with an interest in how AI and new technologies can support research, monitoring and analysis.
