Essential
1. Sympathy with the aims and values of the Liberal Democrats.
2. Experience of working with teams of people - especially volunteers.
3. Ability to create a positive, welcoming and motivating climate for potential Liberal Democrat candidates and activists, from across the spectrum of our region’s diverse makeup, whether or not they are currently party members.
4. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Good IT skills, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
6. The ability to work with, and motivate, volunteers and teams.
7. The ability and willingness to undertake sustained periods of phone calling to new prospects.
8. Ability to work without immediate supervision to deliver agreed objectives.
9. Able to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings.
Desirable
1. Experience of developing or delivering issue-based campaigns - in politics or any other sphere.
2. Experience of mass phoning to achieve an objective - e.g. sales, recruitment or donations.
3. Experience of delivering training and/or mentoring
