Job Details
The Fabian Society is a membership organisation, and the only think tank affiliated to the Labour Party. We are committed to building a more equal economy and society. We believe that ideas matter, and that change is possible.
This is an exciting and varied role, within our External Affairs Team, at a crucial time for UK politics.
About the role:
The role will involve helping to develop and deliver a range of events, from our New Year Conference and Labour Party Conference programme, to our member-focused online events. You will manage our social media platforms, producing timely and high-quality digital content. The role also involves engaging with, supporting and helping to grow our membership.
About you:
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of politics, and a commitment to the aims and values of the Fabian Society. The role requires excellent organisational skills, and experience of organising successful events. We’re looking for someone with effective communication skills, who can work effectively with colleagues and partners, and who can produce high-quality written and visual content.
The role offers great opportunity both for delivering impact and for personal development. The Fabian Society is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, and we encourage applications from people who have backgrounds that are under-represented in politics and think tanks.
