This role sits within UUKi’s Policy and Global Engagement (PaGE) team. The PaGE team leads UUK’s international policy work across a wide range of areas including Global Research & Innovation, International Mobility, and Transnational Education (TNE). Alongside this, our global engagement work also helps ensure UK universities have access to key stakeholders in partner countries from around the world. The team also collaborates closely with colleagues in the Partnerships and External Affairs (PEA) team to create impactful research, insights, publications and events.

The Policy Officer (Europe) acts as UUKi’s principal policy expert for the European region. This is an exciting opportunity to work with international stakeholders, government officials, and policymakers, while developing regional expertise to support the global ambitions of our members.

In this role, you will provide high-quality information, advice, and guidance; build and maintain strong relationships with the higher education sector; and engage with policymakers in the UK, the EU, and across Europe. You will work collaboratively across UUKi’s core priority areas to support the organisation’s international policy objectives.
