Arden Strategies is a fast-growing public affairs and strategic communications consultancy that supports clients to understand and navigate the worlds of politics, policy, and the media.
Our clients span a wide range of sectors and range in size from FTSE100 industry leaders to agile and ambitious start-ups.
We deliver high-quality events and party conference programmes for our clients, and we are seeking an Events Co-Ordinator to join our friendly team on a temporary basis to support our work in this area over a busy summer of planned activity.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, collaborative and proficient in project management, with a strong understanding of the UK political landscape. The role will also require in-person support at party conferences.
Our office hours are 9-5 Monday – Friday, with the ideal candidate having a flexible approach to working during party conference season, including evenings and weekends. This role is a hybrid with three days spent in office each week.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of event documentation, including briefing packs, operation notes, guest lists, and stakeholder materials.
- Manage attendee communications and RSVP processes to ensure a seamless experience.
- Assist with budget tracking and supplier administration including liaison, maintaining accurate records of suppliers, venues, event materials, invoices and contracts.
- Ensure branding, messaging, and client requirements are delivered to consistently high standards.
- Managing events on the ground, alongside our events team, including room set up, seating, AV and guest and speaker liaison.
Essential Skills
- Experience in events and project management.
- Understanding of the UK political environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Desirable Skills
- Experience coordinating political events.
- Experience managing websites or Wordpress.
