Are you passionate about making a difference in your community and supporting effective public services? The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner is seeking an organised, proactive and highly professional individual to join as Executive Support and Correspondence Manager.

This is a key role at the heart of policing and community safety in Hertfordshire, working closely with the Police and Crime Commissioner. You will provide high level executive support, helping to ensure the smooth and effective operation of a busy public office. Central to the role is managing a complex and often competing diary, coordinating meetings and events, and preparing briefings to ensure the Commissioner is informed and well supported.

You will also take lead responsibility for managing correspondence, ensuring enquiries from residents, elected representatives and partner organisations are handled professionally, accurately and within agreed timescales. The role involves supporting stakeholder engagement, enabling communities and partners to access information and support, and ensuring local voices are heard.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to anticipate issues and manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to build effective working relationships are essential. You will be confident handling sensitive matters and working with a wide range of stakeholders.
