As a Domestic Committees Apprentice, you'll support the Governance Office team in delivering the administrative and organisational work that underpins the House of Commons' governance arrangements. You'll help set up and support meetings, including Committee meetings, manage the distribution of papers, respond to enquiries from Members, their staff and House staff, and provide administrative support to the team.

Now in its third year, the Speaker’s Apprenticeship Academy aims to work to widen the House Service talent pool by providing additional support to early career starters. Apprentices have the unique opportunity to learn and develop their skills in the UK Parliament, the home of British democracy.

The scheme is open to those at the early stages of their careers who are not in full-time education. It offers a range of apprenticeship roles across the House of Commons, with dedicated training and mentoring throughout.
