Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping manage correspondence and drafting responses to constituents under supervision.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the constituency and Westminster offices.
  • Supporting communications output, including drafting content for social media and newsletters.
  • Supporting the team with researching and preparing briefings on constituency issues.
  • Assisting with projects across the office.
  • Monitoring media coverage and helping brief the MP.

Upon appointment you will be required to comply with the Baseline Personnel Security Standard, undertaken by the Members’ Staff Verification Office (MSVO). See Members’ Staff Verification Office (MSVO) page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.

Closing Date: 1 July 2026
