Job Details

Sarah Dyke MP, Liberal Democrat MP for Glastonbury and Somerton and the party’s Spokesperson for Rural Affairs, is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join her Westminster office as a full time Personal Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of Parliament, supporting a busy frontbench MP who is passionate about championing rural communities, sustainable farming, and the environment.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day to day running of a dynamic parliamentary office, providing high level administrative and organisational support. The role holder will also need to accompany Sarah to parliamentary events, prepare briefings, take notes, and ensure she is fully supported and well briefed throughout her parliamentary duties.

A strong interest in rural affairs policy is highly desirable, reflecting Sarah’s portfolio and commitment to advocating for rural Britain at a national level. This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast paced political environment, demonstrates excellent attention to detail, and is committed to public service and Liberal Democrat values.
