Bring your creativity to Sarah Green MP’s office in an exciting role focussed on media and constituent engagement. Ideal for anyone with an interest in shaping and delivering the important messages Sarah wants to share and exchange with her constituents. This flexible role, available full-time or part-time, offers the opportunity to shape Sarah’s communications and deliver impactful outreach to constituents.

You'll need to be able think strategically while being adaptable, proactive, and thrive under pressure in a rapidly evolving environment. An exciting opportunity with room for growth and development within the MP’s office.

This new role will be primarily responsible for:
• Developing comms and digital plans agreed with Sarah and her Chief of Staff
• Planning, creating, filming and editing video, graphics and written content, and growing and managing Sarah's social media, website, newsletter and petitions
• Monitoring media coverage and working with local, regional and national media, drafting press releases, statements and lines to deadline
• Providing proactive communications support for local, issue-based campaigns, and tracking performance to keep improving reach and engagement

There is no expectation that you will tick every box, but we'd particularly like to hear from applicants who can demonstrate:

• Experience in media communications in the public, private or third sectors
• Strong political judgement and an ability to seek out opportunities and advocate for new approaches
• An ability to deliver at speed whilst managing competing pressures and aligning with strategic direction
• Being sympathetic to Liberal Democrat values

This role is not suitable for applicants who wish to work fully remotely.
