Job Details
Policy Connect is looking for an ambitious Project Coordinator for a stimulating and impactful position within our accessibility policy team, focussing on assistive and accessible technology (ATech).
Our work on ATech policy is conducted by producing research reports with recommendations to government, organising meetings of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for ATech (held in the House of Commons and House of Lords), and delivering policy workshops as part of our ATech Policy Lab.
The role holder will focus on:
- Organising policy events, including researching topics, speakers and attendees; writing pre-event background briefings; and post-event outcomes papers.
- Policy monitoring (including producing our annual briefing on the year’s ATech policy developments), and staying informed about relevant political, legislative and policy news.
- External communications (including LinkedIn posts and a quarterly newsletter).
- Managing stakeholder data.
- In the medium to long term, the focus of the role can be flexible and can respond to the interests, skills and preferences of the chosen candidate.
