Join the campaign for a gender equal Parliament

Centenary Action is a cross-party campaign working to achieve a gender equal Parliament and create lasting change in women’s political representation. 

We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Campaign Assistant to support our campaigns, communications, stakeholder engagement and member activities.

Working closely with the Campaign Manager and partners, you will help deliver campaigns, events and communications. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting campaign planning, coordination and tracking activity.
  • Helping organise meetings, events and member activities.
  • Supporting newsletters, social media and website updates.
  • Maintaining stakeholder and member records.
  • Supporting Steering Group and committee meetings.
  • Providing general organisational support.

About you

You will be organised, reliable and proactive, with the ability to manage a varied workload and work independently.

You will have:

  • Experience in administration, communications, events or project support.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using digital tools and social media.
  • A flexible approach and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A commitment to women’s equality and an interest in politics.

Experience in campaigning, public affairs, politics or the voluntary sector is welcome but not essential.

The pattern of work will vary, so flexibility and good time management are important.
