Lexington is a leading independent strategic consultancy. We are seeking an ambitious Research Executive (RE) or Associate Consultant (AC) to join our growing health practice in London. We welcome applications from candidates with some relevant experience (RE) / 1-2 years' experience (AC) in consultancy, communications, public affairs, policy or media within healthcare.
Our team works with UK and global organisations across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medtech, NHS and charity sectors. We help clients address major healthcare challenges, including access to innovative medicines and health inequalities.
We deliver integrated communications, public affairs, policy and stakeholder engagement programmes, offering broad consulting experience and development opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse developments across Government, Parliament, the NHS and the wider landscape
- Conduct research and generate insights to support client programmes and campaigns
- Draft high-quality materials including briefings, reports, stakeholder communications, press materials, social media content and presentations
- Assist with stakeholder engagement involving policymakers, NHS leaders, healthcare professionals, patient groups and industry stakeholders
- Support client events, advisory boards, parliamentary events, roundtables and healthcare congress activity
- Contribute to campaign development and content creation across multiple channels
- Contribute to new business activity, including research, proposals and pitches
About you
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Some/1-2 years' relevant experience
- A strong interest in healthcare, the NHS, health policy and current affairs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research, analytical and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- A collaborative, proactive approach to problem-solving
Experience in either public affairs and policy or communications and media relations is desirable, but applicants do not need experience across both disciplines.
