About the role

As Business Development Officer, you will provide research, coordination and operational support that helps the organisation understand commissioning environments, shape service development and secure funding opportunities. 

Key responsibilities include:

Researching and analysing commissioning landscapes, funder priorities, market trends and partnership opportunities. 

Producing high-quality intelligence, reports and evidence that support funding proposals and service development.

Preparing briefings, presentations and service summaries for commissioners and funders.

Managing business development systems, databases, pipelines and reporting processes.

Identifying opportunities to improve team processes, efficiency and the use of digital and AI-enabled tools.

Coordinating contributions from colleagues across the organisation to support bids and funding opportunities.

About you

We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical skills with excellent organisational ability and a collaborative approach.

You will bring:

Experience producing clear, persuasive written materials informed by evidence and data.
Experience conducting research, analysis and mapping exercises to identify opportunities, service needs or process improvements.
Experience building productive relationships with external stakeholders.
Strong administrative and systems skills, including the management of databases and records.
The ability to interpret complex information, including financial or performance data.
