Luke Murphy MP is looking for a diligent and personable Policy Caseworker to join his team, leading on constituent casework and supporting his policy work in Parliament.
You'll be the first point of contact for constituents raising problems and policy concerns, working through issues ranging from housing and benefits to immigration and local services, while also helping Luke stay on top of live policy debates.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a busy caseload, handling constituent enquiries with care, accuracy and appropriate confidentiality.
• Draft clear, well-reasoned responses to constituents on casework and policy matters.
• Liaise with government departments, agencies and local organisations to resolve cases.
• Monitor and brief Luke on relevant policy developments and legislation.
• Support preparation for parliamentary questions, debates and constituent surgeries.
• Contribute to correspondence, briefings and content on policy issues, including for social media and the website.
• Provide general administrative support to the office as required.
