About Spacehive
Spacehive is the crowdfunding platform for ideas that bring local places to life, from turning phone boxes into community libraries to pop-up gardens, street art and neighbourhood markets. Over £45 million has been raised on our platform, and we have the highest success rate of any UK crowdfunding platform. We work with an ambitious network of funding partners (councils, combined authorities, government bodies and brands across the UK and Ireland) who back locally-led projects that matter to their communities.

About this role
As Partnership Director you'll lead our client portfolio and set the direction of our award-winning community crowdfunding partnerships. You'll drive strategic planning, own relationships and manage contracts. We've deliberately rebuilt this role around an AI-powered operations hub, so programme tracking and reporting run on automated workflows and the team spends its energy on what actually moves partnerships forward. You'll have a Partnership Manager reporting to you, plus close support from Business Development, Projects and Finance.

What you'll own

  • The client portfolio and its revenue: retention, renewals and growth
  • The strategic direction of each partnership: programme strategy, fund mapping, senior stakeholder engagement
  • A modern, AI-enabled way of working, helping shape the tools as they evolve
  • A high-performing team, line managing and developing a Partnership Manager
  • New client onboarding and growth, alongside Business Development
  • Our impact story, presenting to senior stakeholders and leading client events

About you

  • An experienced account leader in partnerships, account management or client services, with commercial instincts (Local Authority experience a bonus)
  • A confident communicator who manages senior stakeholders with differing priorities
  • Systematic and organised, keeping multiple programmes on track
  • A strategic thinker with an eye for growth
  • Genuinely curious about AI and comfortable directing automated output

Spacehive is an anti-racist, anti-discriminatory organisation. We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people, people with disabilities, and people from lower income and diverse educational backgrounds who may be under-represented in our organisation.

Closing Date: 21 August 2026

Interview/Start Dates

Interviews to take place via video link w/c 24 August.

We are looking to fill the role from September (the earlier the better), and may interview before the closing date, so early applications are encouraged.
