Job Details

The Knowledge Exchange Group requires a Training Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be an organised and efficient team player. You will be reliable, comfortable with technology and have good commercial skills. You’ll have some experience of events or training, however we will provide full training and development to ensure you succeed in this role.

You will organise and oversee the smooth delivery of training courses, ranging in size from 5-50 attendees. You will collaborate closely with the Director, marketing, product and operations teams to ensure commercial success.

To include:
• Developing and managing relationships with trainers and clients.
• Agreeing and negotiating trainer fees, within fixed budgets.
• Liaising with trainers to create course copy and materials. Chasing biographies, course materials, and presentations.
• To build course websites and email templates.
• Sending and coordinating pre-event questionnaires.
• Ensuring courses are CPD certified.
• Sending joining instructions to delegates, delivering customer and technical support, by phone, email or online.
• Post-course follow up – to distribute evaluation forms and analyse results. To record costs and process trainer invoices.
• To set up webinars on Zoom and arrange tech checks.
• Client liaison for inhouse training.

Personal Attributes and Experience:
• Six months work experience in a professional setting.
• Evidence of previous events/training experience.
• Educated to degree level, minimum 2:1 or similar
• Excellent IT skills e.g. Microsoft Office, Zoom.
• Previous use of a virtual event platform (desirable), basic graphic design skills (desirable), email marketing or website building (desirable).
• Excellent planning and organisational skills, accurate and meticulous.
• Excellent customer service skills, enthusiastic and helpful approach.
• Negotiation and commercial skills.
• Reliable, good problem-solving skills.
• A team player.
• A good communicator, able to build relationships.
